Twists And Turns In The Lost Symbol

If you are a book lover, then undoubtedly you face the dilemma that plagues all lovers of books.

That dilemma is space.

Eventually you run out of space on your bookshelves. So you buy another bookshelf. After that one is filled, what do you do?

Technology has definitely changed how people read the books they love and how they store them now. Thanks to the amazing Amazon Kindle, you can have an ebook reader that can house anywhere from 1500 to 3000 books.

So if you have been waiting to snag a copy of Dan Brown's best seller, The Lost Symbol, then now is the time.

Dan Brown is now a household name thanks to Tom Hanks and his arresting portrayal of the lead character from Brown's book, The Da Vinci Code. People rushed out to buy the book and were floored with his writing ability.

So with the second installment, The Lost Symbol, many never even considered reading the excerpt or description. They were already loyal Brown fans.

The great thing about ebooks is user reviews. You can find a published review from a critic in many different places. But often the critic looks for different aspects in a book than a regular reader does. Does this second installment live up to the phenomenal success that The Da Vinci Code enjoyed?

That is hard to say because the reviews are definitely mixed. Some readers feel that the Da Vinci Code was so well written that any future installments would pale in comparison.

Lost Symbol does have its own fair share of plot twists that have made Dan Brown so famous. But readers do have to agree that this book does not quite have the same thrills that made The Da Vinci Code so popular. It is not likely that you will see Tom Hanks portraying this on the big screen but it is still a decent book to read.

And with it being on the Kindle you can get it for a phenomenal price. Plus you do not have to wait for it to ship. It downloads directly to your computer and to your Kindle device.

Robert Langdon, the protagonist from The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, does have an adventure on his hands. And at a price of $9.60 from www.amazon.com, it certainly is worth checking out.

It will not take up room on your book shelf and if you decide you do not like the book, then you really are not out much money.

But if you are a fan of mysteries and hidden plots, then The Lost Symbol may have you staying up late just to finish it.
