Backing up any DVD can be a real effort if you don't have the correct setup to start with. AnyDVD is one such program that seems to have all the answers when it comes to backing up your favorite DVD's. AnyDVD is very easy to setup and use and once it is installed it will sit on the taskbar of your computer. This enables AnyDVD to automatically remove such things as copy protection as soon as you insert your Movie DVD into the drive, this feature will then allow you to backup your movie using another tool from slysoft.com called Clone DVD.

AnyDVD can remove what is called the RPC Region Code, enabling you to then play the DVD Movie once it is back up on any DVD Movie Player and with any DVD Movie player software.

AnyDVD removes such things as subtitles, FBI Warnings, Copyright and all those things that annoy even the most avid DVD viewers. You can launch external programs when inserting or removing DVD's or prevent other DVD software such as media player from launching automatically when you insert your DVD Movies into your drive.

A strong point for AnyDVD is of course its decryption capabilities but that is not all that this software can offer its users. You can have complete control over the speed of your DVD Drive, you can reduce noise levels that are sometimes present when watching movies. Even adjust the the settings of your computer monitor so that you can view NTSC or PAL.

When we started our review and actually put the program through its paces we also realized that this program can decrypt audio CD's so that you can back them up as well… So it is really like having two programs in one powerful package.

Any DVD is compatible with these operating systems windows98/98SE/ME/2000/XP/XP64/VISTA/VISTA64 with a minimum of 64MB of Ram and at least 2MB of Disk Space.

Overall we found AnyDVD to be very easy to use and we had no problems backing up any of our DVD Movies or Audio CD's.
